Our rates
Cash
Starting at 70% of market value
Usually paid in cash at your appointment.
Trade credit
Starting at 80% of market value
Use it on anything we sell, including pre-orders and livestream breaks. Trade credit never expires.
Mix and match: you can split any offer, taking part in cash and part in trade credit.
Our offers usually start around 70% of market value in cash or 80% in trade credit. The exact amount depends on the cards: in-demand, high-value cards and sealed product can earn more, while lower-demand or heavily played cards may come in under that.
How we set our offers
Offers follow what cards actually sell for in Canada right now, not the asking prices in tracking apps. We check recent sold listings first and compare against market apps for newer sets with fewer sales. We confirm condition in person against our Condition Guide, so an offer can change if a card's condition is different from how it was described.
What we buy
- Sealed Pokémon: booster boxes, ETBs, booster bundles, collection boxes, tins and cases. Factory sealed only.
- Singles: modern and vintage hits, including special illustration rares, secret rares, full arts, alt arts and trainer cards.
- Graded slabs: PSA, CGC and BGS, in all grades.
- Full collections: binders, boxes and childhood collections. Bring everything and we'll go through it with you.
- Mail-in collections from across Canada: not in Kamloops? Email us first (details below).
What we don't buy
Fakes or proxies, resealed or opened sealed product, heavily damaged cards (bends, water damage, tears), and anything we can't verify as authentic.
How it works
- Email us. Send a list or photos to colin@thepokeoffice.com. We're flexible on day and time.
- Meet up in Kamloops, or mail in. Local sellers meet Colin somewhere public. Elsewhere in Canada, we'll sort out the mail-in details by email.
- Get an offer. You get a clear itemized offer with no pressure. Take it, leave it, or think it over.
- Get paid. Cash on the spot, trade credit added to your account, or a split of both.
